Outlook for energy-saving technologies transfer
in the Eurasian Economic Community

This paper presents the key milestones in the history of the Eurasian Economic Commu-
nity as well as the essential conditions for the technology transfer implementation within
the country associations. It sums up the key viewpoints of the experts of the Eurasian
Economic Community on the priorities of joint activities in the electricity and renewable
energy sources. The goals and operational results of the Center of High Technologies of
the Eurasian Economic Community are discussed. The paper lay out key technical and
economic indicators of long-term project to create energy systems for thermal energy
using local alternative biofuels. It also shows the items of the Treaty on the Eurasian
Economic Community in terms of electricity as well as fundamental principles of promot-
ing the diffusion of technology and mutual investments of the community.
The paper gives the main results of the Eurasian Economic Community activities in terms
of technology transfer in energy sector.
