Yushchenko A.S. graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School and the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Dr. Sci. (Engineering), professor, head of the Robotic Systems Department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Laureate of the Prize of the RF Government in Education. Member of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher School, International Academy of Informatization. Author of more than 200 publications and seven books including two textbooks on theory of automatic control. Deputy Chairman of the Scientificmethodological Council for preparation of specialists in the field of robotics and mechatronics. Main investigations are devoted to the theory of automatic control and ergonomics (methods for designing robotic intellectual systems interacting with a man) and their applications: robotics for conditions of extremal situations, surgery, and medical diagnostics.
