Deputy director for science and relations with state run authorities of the Kurchatovskii Institute Research Center, member of the Scientific and Technical Council, chairman of the Scientific and Methodical Council of the RF Ministry of Education and Science, member of bureau of Working Group on Nanotechnologies and Materials of the RF Ministry of Education and Science, chief of the section Technologies of Mechatronics and Development of Microsystem Equipment. Head of the Applied Mechanics Department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Developer of fundamentals of the theory of conversion of deterministic and stochastic signals by integrated microsensor systems based on the synthesis of methods of the classical and combinatorial information theory with methods of mechanics of deformable solids; creator of the number of microsensor complexes for aviation and space technologies, gas-transport systems; originator of a new scientific field – technological biomechanics.
