Sidnyaev Nikolay I.

Nikolay I. Sidnyaev graduated from the Bauman Moscow Higher Technical School, the Lomonosov Moscow University, and the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Dr. Sci. (Engineering), professor, head of the Higher Mathematics Department of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Author of more than 220 publications, two monographs, five books. Member of the editorial council of the Universal Journal of Applied Mathematics, member of the Scientific Coordinating Council on Nanoengineering of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University, member of the Expert Commission of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation, Scientific-Methodical Council on Mathematics under the RF Ministry of Education and Science. Main investigations are devoted to gas dynamics of multiphase media, to mechanics of liquid, gas, and plasma, and to aeromechanics. Among his achievements there are some computational-theoretical models of nonstationary aerothermodynamics of spacecrafts, which were developed and put into operation; theoretical developments for different modes of hypersonic flow around aircrafts, the elaboration of theory of planning of experiment.
