A mathematical apparatus of a gradan position of chromatic aberration calculation by force of universal numerical and analytical methods is considered. The received results coincide. The fact allows using a universal method at the analysis and synthesis of gra-dan and lens optical elements. The graph method of the analysis of the influence of the design parameters of lens and dispersion characteristics of gradient medium on the coefficient of the chromatic aberration of the position is proposed.
