This article presents the prerequisites for a new type of the tank-automotive assets. It deals with the history of the MRAP assets development in the Russian Federation. The paper describes the design features of various samples of the MRAP type. It emphasizes on the lack of such a property as Evacuability in the property vocabulary for the tank-automotive assets. It is suggested that the concept of "evacuability" should be expanded for MRAP assets.
