The paper presents the results of an experimental study of the back pressure effect on some hydrodynamic characteristics of fluid flow in the valve slots. It is shown that in the throttle valve device crevices may exist such end regimes when the change ofpressure on the outlet of the slot valve to some extent has no influence on some characteristics of fluidflow therein.
