It is shown that most dangerous kinds of extremist's activity are terrorist attacks with application of explosive devices. The fundamental principles of development of the modern automated information systems for support of investigation of criminal use of explosives and for prevention of terrorist attacks are presented. On this basis, a fundamentally new tooling is developed, which is oriented directly to the analysis and prevention of terroristic attacks.
