The problems of creating kinetic energy ammunition for cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and surface-to-air missiles, which concern the development of penetrator warheads and programmable fuzes, are considered. The drawbacks of the separate designing of guided missiles and their ammunition are demonstrated. The physical modeling at experimental studies using undersized models of missiles and the numerical simulation for developing efficient designs of penetrator warheads and programmable fuze devices is shown to be most important.
