A new approach to pre-processing of remote sensing images with controlled quality loss is proposed. The approach is based on the selection of paths in the images followed the exception of "parasitic" contours. The proposed algorithm can be used to compare different time images presented in the form of groups of point objects and will reduce the analysis time while increasing the accuracy of the result.
