The paper analyses the growth dynamics of certified quality management and environmental management systems in Russia and the world. Factors that reduce the effectiveness of quality management systems of Russian companies are disclosed. Necessity of development and certification of integrated management systems for raising the competitiveness of Russian enterprises is justified.
